Pumpkin Walk 2009

I look forward to the Pumpkin Walk every year. If you have never heard of it, it is at a park in North Logan and there are tons of scenes made with pumpkins and they are really pretty creative and cool. After walking through the park they give you string cheese and cookies (this is how it is when you live so close to a cheese factory and pepperidge farms factory). It is so much fun and the best part...it is FREE! Crystal and my mom came up for it and Tim and Jessica came also. Brandy was in town and met up with us too!

M&M scene. This year they had a M&M pumpkin in every scene that you had to look for...so dang cute!

Crystal and Phi going for a swim

Yoda in the Star Wars scene...check out those ears!

McDonalds scene and they even had the burglar in it!

Me helping pull the handcart with the pumpkin pioneers

Crystal bowling with the Geico caveman

Tribute to Michael Jackson all the pumpkin people are doing thriller, notice MJ in the front?

Me with the E.L. Fudge tree
Rest of the E.L. Fudge scene this one was really cute

Slightly embarassed to put this up...but it had to be done

Crystal and Brandy hanging out with the Fruit of the Loom crew. Right after taking this Brandy practically knocked over the apple...that must be why there are signs everywhere asking you to stay out of the scenes...we just couldn't resist!

Crystal finally gets to be Cindy
I loved the Aggie ice cream scene
Cute Photo Op
There are pumpkins lining the whole thing but this one caught my attention. Someone has got some wicked sweet carving skills to be able to make the prophet and it looks amazing!
Rice Krispy guys playing in a band

Taking the bus back to the car...also Free I love how Logan has free events with free cheese and cookies

A Lot Of Catch Up

Last weekend we went to Lagoon for our annual day at Frightmares. We try and go every year and this year Kelly and David and Mark went also. It was super packed because the weather was like a summer day, but it was fun to think back to the good old days of working at Lagoon we really do have so many funny memories! We really didn't even get to go on too many rides but it was just fun being there, seeing are the creepos, breathing in the fog machines, watching the spooky characters sneak up on people, and spending time togeth.
Waiting in line for the haunted house...the line was ridiculously long so we started taking pics!

Ked and David
One of the many creepy characters walking throughout the park I think they are hilarious!

Did I mention I colored my hair dark brown. My natural color is brown but I have had highlights for a while. I have always wanted to go dark dark brown but have been scared. Finally I just went for it I was super nervous that my hair would turn out red because they added some red warmth to the color, but I think it turned out great, it was exactly what I envisioned and I am thoroughly enjoying being brunette again, plus it is much cheaper upkeep!

I had so much fun over conference weekend. We went down to my parents house on Friday so Phi could go with my dad to the BYU vs USU game in Provo which gave me the perfect chance to get togeth with the girls. I had always wanted to go to Gardner Village for the Wee Witching and so we went. It was so stinkin cute there were witches everywhere and cute kids dressed in witch costumes. I absolutely loved it and loved spending time with Brandy, Shell, and Kel!
This was so cool that witch is on a bike going back and forth across the pond, pretty impressive!

Shell posing on the ancient carriage we were all worried it would bust at any moment but somehow she survived!

I loved all thee witches displays throughout the village

Witch sitting in an outhouse!
Us inside the outhouse with the witch...we just couldn't resist!

Gardner village is the cutest place ever with such cute things for sale, I wish I could decorate my whole apt. with the furnitre they sell...maybe someday! Thanks Brandy, Kelly, and Shelle for the fun night let's get togeth again soon!
On Saturday we watched conference, which of course was amazing and exactly what I needed to hear, and then Crys, my mom, Jessica, and I all went out shopping. I went to Tai Pan for the first time and fell in love. I can't believe I had never been before they have such great stuff and I will be going back very soon! Then we went to Olive Garden and got a table and the guys met up with us after Priesthood for dinner. It was a lot of fun. Sunday morning my friend Nate invited us to go to conference he had two extra tix and we were excited to go. Catherine, Chad, and his girlfriend Dana also came. I love being able to go to conference every now and again it is a very humbling experience to see how far people will come to go to conference. A family from Nate's mission in Mexico flew in just for conference and went with us as well. I think it is easy to take it for granted because I have grown up always having access to it on TV but being able to go and see the prophet and apostles was a really neat experiece. As usual, conference was amazing and I can't wait to read the talks in the Ensign.
