Little Miss Addie

Well my baby is five weeks old...tomorrow. She is growing up way too fast! I had to take her into the doc the other day because she has developed some serious reflux...grrr and they told me she weighed 9lbs 8.5 oz she is gaining weight quite nicely and she is getting soo chunky, I just love it. I have been slacking on putting pics up so the following starts at about 3 weeks and goes through 5 weeks old.

Addie is such a great baby and such a joy to have around. She is a lot more alert these days and taking in the world around her. She is such a good sleeper and has started sleeping for 5-6 hours at a time at night, gets up to eat and then goes right back to bed. We just love her to pieces!

Changes

I have been a little M.I.A lately due to the many changes that have taken place recently. I am so grateful for the blessings that have been poured down upon me in the last month...but it hasn't been easy. Having a baby is quite the adjustment and a major change in my life. As if adjusting to a new baby isn't enough, within a matter of one weeks time Nephi was offered a job promotion in salt lake and we moved to Layton. I am still in awe that we pulled it off. Packing and moving in a week with a 3 week old was not easy but we did it. I am not great with change and all of this change came so stinkin fast. I am been an emotional wreck having to pick up and move and dealing with postpartum hormones! Phi and I both love Logan and wanted to stay there forever. It is the greatest place and it is home to us, so you can imagine how difficult it has been leaving it behind. Logan has a special place in my heart that I will never forget and I plan on visiting often for all the festivities that only Logan can pull off! We loved our apartment, ward, friends and everything about Cache County, but the Lord had a different plan for us and I am grateful that Phi got this job because it will allow me to stay home with Addie and I am so grateful for that. It's hard being in a new place where I don't know anyone around me, but it is nice being close to both of our families. Now the real kicker to all these changes is that Nephi left this past Sunday for Denver for three weeks of training for his new job...seriously!!! I have a new baby and no husband. I guess I am a whimp but it has been really hard having him gone...again so grateful our families are close or I don't know how I would survive. Despite all these huge changes I feel so blessed and comforted. I have a beautiful daughter that I get to spend all my time with. She is such a great baby and we just love her so much. I can't believe she is already a month old. I will do a seperate post about Addie and put up some pics when I get some time...but somehow Addie consumes just about all of that time! Good thing she is so dang cute!

Newborn Photoshoot

We had Addie's newborn pictures taken last week and I couldn't be more happy with how they turned out. She did so great and let us pose her in all the props. She was so smiley and the photographer caught a lot of the smiles. She is a natural...enjoy!
