3

Well Addie is 3 months now (plus a week since I am behind on posting)! She is so much fun and is becoming so interactive with us. She has discovered her voice and cooes non-stop. I will mimic her sound and she will make one back at me...we have conversations all morning, it is so stinkin cute! She is still a great sleeper at night 10-8 and is getting better at taking naps in her crib during the day. She still insists on being held facing out and always wants to check out the action going on around her. She constantly wants to be entertained and gets cabin fever being at home all day so I have been trying to get out more with her!
I have had so much fun dressing her up for church. The above outfit is from my friend Brandy and it is seriously the cutest thing she has worn yet! I am loving putting Adds in leg warmers!
She loves being under this toy and could stare at it forever. She has started batting at the objects a little bit too!

Getting so much stronger and better at tummy time

Still loving her binkie

She loves hanging out with Daddy

She loves going for walks. If she is fussy all I have to do is walk outside and she stops. She loves being outside...I dont know what I am going to do come winter!!

She is obsessed with bath time. She gets downright giddy when it is time to get in and absolutely HATES getting out

I cannot seem to get her smile on camera no matter how hard I try. This is the closest I have come

It is so crazy to me how fast they change. I love being able to spend my days with Addie and see her discover and learn new things. We just love her to pieces!

Campfire Fun

We finally got around to doing S'mores at my parents now that it is October! Addie liked the fire at first and was mesmerized by it but then she decided she was ready for bedtime and slept in my arms for most of it. The S'mores were extra good since I hadn't had one in so long!

Next summer I will be having to keep Addie from falling into the fire!

Missing Cache Valley

You would think after 2.5 months of living in Layton I would be adjusted by now, but the truth is I am homesick for Logan. It is kind of funny because when I first moved to Logan for school I didn't really care for it and had been there like once before in my life. I always thought I would finish up school and get out of there. It was too small town and cut off from the world up there. Not to mention the mall is pathetic and there is no Target! When I graduated it wasn't an option to move away because Phi was still in school and had a good job so instead I commuted to Ogden for almost a year. Let's just say that in that year of commuting to Ogden I grew to appreciate Logan more and more! I was finally starting to consider it home and both Nephi and I would have loved to have stayed forever. So you can imagine how tough it was for me when within one weeks time Phi had gotten a new job and we moved. It all happened so fast and I feel like there were so many people I never got to say goodbye to and places I didn't get to visit one last time. I miss so many things about cache valley some of those things are:

-my AMAZING ward which I loved and had so many friends in. i don't think i will ever find another ward like the University 63rd!

-my apartment that was way nicer and cheaper than my current abode...what's up with that?!

-my neighbors and many friends...everyone in logan just seems more friendly, i haven't even met my next door neighbor here

-the fact that everything was 5 minutes away and i could literally walk to Sam's Club and Costa Vida

-being able to shop the clearance racks at the mall because no one pays full price for anything

-Fall in Logan and the beautiful changing colors. I have missed seeing Sardine Canyon and I hope the colors are still vibrant this weekend when we go!

-all the community events, there is always something going on. I am excited to go to the pumpkin walk this saturday, it is one of my favorite things about fall in Logan!

-all the factories: cheese, pepperidge farms, caspers, creamies

-usu campus

-usu football and basketball games. it will be hard not going to the games this season. i watched the usu vs. byu game and would have given anything to be cheering on our team at the game...what a win!

-the logan temple, it really is stunning

The last five years in Logan have been great and I will always hold a special place in my heart for the memories I have there. It is where me and Phi dated and lived for the first 3 years of our married life and where Addie was born, even if she only lived there for 2 weeks! I just needed to document how great Logan was and hopefully now I can look forward to enjoying where I live now. I am enjoying having a Target and decent shopping around!

In n Out

I never thought the day would come when I would be eating at in-n-out 15 minutes from my house...but that day is here. We went to the Centerville in-n-out this past Friday and loved it! It is still weird to see these in Utah now and it kind of takes the novelty out of them when we go to Vegas and Cali, but it is nice to have them close. However, it is not quite the same without the palm trees! We are total dorks for taking pics, especially in front of the sign (I am sure we looked like tourists to passerbys...oh well) but we just had to document Addie's first trip, she loved it of course!

Snuggle time with grandma

Thanks for suggesting we go Dad, I am sure there will be many more trips there in the future. The hard part will be making sure Phi doesn't stop there like everyday on his way home from work ;)

Rockin the Hoodie!!

I am loving these cooler fall temps because it gives me an excuse to dress Adds in her little jackets. I think she pulls off the hood quite nicely!

Am I slightly obsessed with taking pics of her....maybe, maybe not! Needless to say Addie is sick of the camera in her face, but I am determined to get a pic of her smiling. Everytime she is smiley and I whip out the camera the smiles fade away and she stares in awe/concern at the camera. I have tried everything to capture one of her winning smiles but not much luck thus far! I will keep trying. Hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather as much as me!
