1. We went to the temple yesterday...for the first time since Addie was born. It was so great to be back at the temple. It has been way too long. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to go to the temple with a baby and while I am still nursing and I have been feeling a little guilty. I loved going to the Bountiful temple again. I have been going to Logan for so long it was fun to reminisce about our wedding day, which I cannot believe was almost four years ago...where does the time go! I am recommitted to making whatever sacrifices necessary to get to the temple regularly again.
2. I FINALLY got a gym pass again...it is no sports academy, but it gets the job done I guess. It was a big fat smack in the face at how out of shape I have gotten. I use to be a gym regular, but then as I got more and more pregnant that stopped and don't even ask me how things have been since I had Addie! No more excuses I am commited to getting my sorry self into shape. I have always been a terrible runner, but I really want to get into running races. I am training for a 5k, yes I have to train for a 5k, a little embarrassing but what can ya do. I am hoping my endurance can build quickly and I can get more into running, after all I have a sweet jogging stroller that is calling Addie's name!
3. I want to buy a house soooo bad! I check KSL.com a little too often and find so many houses that I am ready to move right into. We even went and looked at a couple of model homes this weekend just for fun and that just got my excitement up even more. Fingers crossed we can leave the apartment lifestyle behind by the end of the year...we will see.
4. I can't stop buying clothes and accessories for Addie. It is becoming a serious problem. I am constantly on-line looking at carters, babygap, old navy, etc. and scouting out what I will get next. The Carters' store in Riverdale is seriously my downfall. I may or may not make multiple trips there a month, I just can't resist a good sale and their coupons. Nephi will never understand my obsession with clothes for Addie. I guess I just live vicariously through her, if she looks cute that is all that matters! Let's just say it would be great it we have another girl next so all these clothes can get their use out of them.
Sorry for all the ramblings. This is just kind of what we have been up to. I am hoping if I put these things down I will be able to hold myself accountable...no guarantees I can tame my shopping for Addie. I am sure excited for the warmer weather and spending our days outside and at the pool!
P.S. Addie and I are going with my parents to southern California next month for a quick trip. We are driving down and then my mom, Addie, and I are flying back while my dad stays for work. I am so excited to be going and so ready for a vaca, but it is safe to say I am slightly stressed/terrified of taking Addie on a plane ride. If anyone has any tips for traveling with babies, i would love to hear them. Am I crazy for thinking I can hold her in my lap and check her carseat?

I like your ramblings--it's like they're the telephone conversations that we're not having!! Have fun in cali!
Living out of state from our family our kids have been on multiple airplane rides... starting out as young as 2 months. My kids often fall asleep on the airplane. Just have plenty of books and snacks to occupy her just incase she is awake. If she has sensitive ears it is good to nurse/bottle/pacifier during take-off to help with the plugged ears, but the take-off never seems to phase my boys. Good luck and have a fun trip!
