One of "THOSE" days

We all know the saying and today has definitely been one of "those" days:

One of those days where Addie cried every time I sat her down or made any movement that made her think I was walking away from her

One of those days where Addie screamed every time I laid her down for a nap

One of those days where when the screaming finally stopped and Addie fell asleep she woke up less than an hour later

One of those days where I am lucky to just have dinner on the table

One of those days where we went to the grocery store just to get out of the house

One of those days where I passed all responsibility to Phi when he got home and ran off to the gym

One of those days where I wish my baby could tell me why she was so unhappy.  I have used the teething explanation too many times and she still has no teeth.

Pretty sure it is just a nasty case of separation anxiety.  I think Addie is going through a phase where she wants us to hold her constantly.  While it is flattering that she think so highly of me, it is also very exhausting and draining.

When I got home from the gym, Addie was zonked on the couch next to Phi.  She NEVER does that, I guess her sleep finally caught up with her.

This pic speaks volume about the day Addie has had.  So tired she fell asleep on the couch, with toys all around her, a full diaper, and a Kiss Me I'm Irish bib around her neck...priceless!

Tough days come with motherhood, but no matter how our day has gone, when I peak in on my sleeping angel before I go to bed, I can't help but feel so grateful to have her in my life and excited for what the next day has in store.
