Fall Fun

We have had so much fun this fall.  Addie is at such a fun age and gets so into every holiday.  This might have been my favorite Halloween to date!  Addie has been borderline obsessed with pumpkins and all things Halloween from the first decoration she saw.  I think I heard the phrases "mama I see a pumpkin" or "mama I see a witch" or "mama I see a ghost" etc. about a million times throughout the month of October.  She loves to point everything out as we drive by and won't stop repeating herself until you acknowledge that you heard that she did in fact see a pumpkin!  I love how easily excited she gets about everything.  Here is what we were up to the past month or so.
We took Addie to pick some baby pumpkins at the grocery store to hold her off until we went to the pumpkin patch.  You would have thought it was Christmas morning she was so happy with her pumpkins!
Her brothers toys are always more fun!
Logan being his typical silly, happy self.
We visited my friend Kelly and her baby girl Kendall.  We headed to Gardner village and Addie loved all the witches.
Family hay ride with our friends Paul, Stephanie, and Easton to the pumpkin patch to pick our perfect pumpkins!

Riding the cow train with my girl.  Yes I realize I have crazy eyes in this pictures but Addie was so excited!
Nephi and I were able to go to a preseason Jazz game for free thanks to the pass of all passes and we got lower bowl too!  It is was way sweet but I shouldn't get use to such great seats!
 Addie's pumpkin pancake.
 Making sugar cookies...
and decorating sugar cookies, but of course it was much more fun to eat the frosting!
The Syracuse pumpkin walk has nothing on the Logan one, but it was free and still a lot of fun to see all the carved pumpkins lit up.

We are lame and didn't carve pumpkins this year, but I did let Addie paint her pumpkin and she had a blast  painting every color on one side of the pumpkin!
My baby boy went and turned six months on me in October.  I had to get a picture of him in his Sunday best and his favorite thing is to stick his tongue out.
Halloween was much anticipated this year.  We kind of explained to Addie what Halloween was and that she got to dress up and get candy and she pretty much asked us every day, multiple times a day if she could "go to Halloween and get candy"!  We were relieved when the day finally came so she would stop asking and it was everything Addie could have hoped for.

We went with our friends Kelsey, Molly and Laney to the Living Planet Aquarium and the girls had so much fun running around with each other.

Then we headed to mom's work to trick or treat!

Addie figured out trick or treating after like her first stop!  The second she got a piece of candy and said thank you she would say "I need to get some more candy" every single time.  Her little pumpkin bag finally got so heavy she asked my mom to hold it for her.  She left with all kinds of candy and other little things and  we still had trick or treating to do that night!
Needless to say Halloween was a success.  Addie got more candy than any 2 year old should ever have, which means I ate way more candy than I should have!  Now she isn't asking to "go to Halloween" anymore instead she just tells me Halloween is over.  I am holding off explaining Christmas just yet!
Happy Halloween from our princess and pirate!
